Grant and Deb are missionaries to the Caspian Lands.
August 21st, 2021 update:
"Deb and I are sitting near the Turkish Airlines check-in at O’Hare airport in Chicago waiting for it to open. After 17 months we’re finally heading back tonight to the Caspian for a week-long visit!
We have a lot on our plates as we reconnect with old friends, get caught up on the team’s church planting progress, and put on a Filter of Hope training for local church planters. Deb will meet with local MOPs leaders, enjoy time with our former teammates and their kids, and sort through our belongings that have been in storage these many months.
Please pray as we go through customs tomorrow that the filters won’t get confiscated. Pray as well for strength, protection, and good processing of our transition. We hope to be a blessing and that this trip is the first of many quarterly trips to help build the church in the Caspian region. We appreciate your partnership with us!"
Grant & Deb
They are spearheading special projects to help build church planting capacity in the Caspian.
As soon as COVID restrictions are lifted, they have been invited to conduct marriage and parenting seminars in addition to supporting the MOPS ministry that Deb helped start.
Their two church plants, along with others in their network, have begun sending teams with truckloads of food, clothing, and Christian literature to some of the most needy families effected by the devastation of war.
