The Monday evening women’s Bible study is wrapping up the Precept Upon Precept study of Ruth, and will be beginning an Advent devotional study on November 1. The devotional we will be using is by Sinclair Ferguson, entitled The Dawn of Redeeming Grace. Join us, as Sinclair Ferguson opens up the first two chapters of Matthew's Gospel in these daily devotions for Advent. Each day’s reflection is full of insight and application, and will help you to arrive at Christmas Day awed by God's redeeming grace and refreshed by the hope of God’s promised king. If you are interested in joining us, (and we certainly hope you are), please pick up a book in the library. They will be available beginning Monday, October 18. There is no cost for these books. Please read Part 1, The Family History, in preparation for our initial evening. (November 1, 6:45, in the church library). For more info regarding the evening study, contact Kristin 920-421-0795.
The daytime study is being held via Zoom. This group is studying the book of James, available on Right Now Media. Francis Chan unpacks the dense truth contained in the book of James in front of the iconic backdrop of San Francisco, the city where he lives and ministers. Through 12 sessions, Francis works through James verse-by-verse, challenging followers of Christ to move beyond a private, intellectual knowledge of God and His Word, to a vibrant faith that impacts every square inch of life.
